EXPERIENCE:

Teaching Artist, George Street Playhouse, New Brunswick, NJ August 2022-Present

Responsible for creating and following a curriculum based on different musical theater styles and techniques. Students explore skills such as singing,dancing, acting, improv, building relationships, script analysis, voice, and movement. After each session, students apply the techniques they learned as part of a showcase performance. Other responsibilities include choreographing, teaching music, producing musical showcases, parent emails, and time sheets. Past shows include: Big Lights,Big Dreams, Frozen, Matilda, Lion King 

 

Musical Director, Memorial Elementary School, Paramus, NJ                          Dec.2022-2025

 Responsible for instructing up to 65 students from grades 3rd-4th on the fundamentals of theater, which included directing, singing and dancing. Other responsibilities included licensing show rights, and program scheduling. Past shows include: Finding Nemo Jr., Willy Wonk Jr. 

 

Selling Kabul- Associate Director, Premiere Stages,Union NJ        August 2023- September 2023

responsibilities included collaborating with the director to coordinate daily activities, dramaturgical research, running parallel rehearsals or leading games or warm-ups, maintaining the work that’s been done in rehearsals and previews, and rehearsing the understudy company.

 

Theatre Program Director, Maywood Recreation, Maywood, NJ          July 2013–February 2020

Produced and directed three shows annually. Responsible for instructing up to 70 students from grades 3rd–9th on the fundamentals of theater, which included directing, costume design, and set design. Other responsibilities included licensing show rights, managing staff, venue rental, and program scheduling. Past shows include: Freaky Friday, Frozen, Seussical, Annie, Xanadu, and Elf.
